If you live in Central Virginia, especially in the Richmond-Metro area, you should consider supporting the following businesses. These are businesses that we have personally supported, and feel comfortable recommending.

Lamplighter Roasting Company is an awesome little coffee roasting company in the Fan area of Richmond. If you prefer sterile coffee stores, this place is not for you. It has atmosphere galore.

The Barrel Thief is a locally owned wine cafe with 2 locations right now. Patterson just west of Libbie and in Short Pump at the shopping center off of Wellesley. Wines are moderate to high priced, and you will find a wealth of wine knowledge from every one of their employees.
